The NED University of Engineering and Technology, is a premier public university located in the urban area of Karachi. It is one of the oldest and most renowned institutions of higher learning in Pakistan.Founded in 1921 to provide training to civil engineers working in building the Sukkur Barrage, the university came to its modern form after being established by the British government. The university is named for its benefactor, donor, and philanthropist, Nadirshaw Eduljee Dinshaw by the government. Eligibility Criteria & Seating Arrangement
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) OR Equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. NED University does not accept any qualification without subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, equivalent to Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering. Candidates must also have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Engineering Examination with at least 60% aggregate marks.

ADMISSION PROCESS AT NED
i) NED Test Structure/Pattern
For admission in the NED University candidate has to qualify Pre-Admission Entry Test of the University based on the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) level subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
