ABOUT NUMS
The National University of Medical Sciences, commonly referred as NUMS, is a public university located Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.
The university is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for degree awarding status and accredited by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training. It was established in 2015 and run by the Pakistan Army Medical Corps. Previously, Army Medical College (which is military-run medical institute) was affiliated with National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan (NUST). Now it is a constituent college of NUMS.
IBAGRADS APPROACH FOR NUMS TESTPREP
IBAGRADS prepares its students for the NUMS test through MDCAT (Medical Colleges Admission Test). This course is comprised of four subjects: English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
These subjects are the part of the admission test of major universities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
a. Weightage Formula
| National MDCAT | 50% |
| NUMS Entry Test | 25% |
| F.Sc. Pre-Medical/HSSC/Eq. | 25% |
b. Passing National MDCAT with 65% marks shall be mandatory for admission in NUMS colleges as per PMC regulations 2021.
c. Obtained a HSSC/FSc Pre-Medical or an equivalent 12thgrade qualification recognized in Pakistan having obtained more than sixty-five percent (65%) marks therein, or a higher percentage as may be notified by the Medical and Dental Council.
d. Qualifying psychological test is mandatory, however merit will be based on subject based MCQs.

ADMISSION PROCESS AT JSMU
i) NUMS Test Structure/Pattern:
NUMS entry test will consist of following MCQ’s from Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English. There is no negative marking in NUMS entry test 2018. Time allowed for NUMS MDCAT entry test is 180 Minutes. Here is the detail entry test for NUMS
